  • Adductor Muscles: It consists of the muscles on the inside of the legs. They provide strength on the inside of the legs.
  • Abductor Muscles: It consists of the muscles on the outside of the legs. They provide strength on the outside of the legs.
  • Gastrocnemius Muscles: It consists of the muscles in the lower part of the legs. They play a big role in the movements of the ankles.

Leg muscles are controlled by our nervous system. The nervous system controls the signals from the brain to the muscles, allowing the muscles to contract and relax.
